Selling limits decreased new Stealth account
 

Hi, created a Uk stealth account....

Se up my sellers account and saw my limits were 100items/3500pounds.

I refresh the page a few minutes later 10items/500pounts.

There is a message from ebay as well.

Stating that they recently reviewed and decreased my limits.

Is this normal? I mean they didn't drop me to 0/0 which I guess is a good sign.

But is it a good sign they at first gave me high limits to begin with?

Ive never seen that before on creation.

I wouldn't think too much of it.

Yeah I don't rly. Its just weird it happened as I also never stumbled on a post saying something simillar.

Maybe I was """" this close to getting a high limit new acc :D.

I did like 5 times. Was dreading a ban message, seems they just didn't trust me enough to give me all those sweet,sweet limits :D.

Yeah well I think I triggeres one right off the start, since I tried adding a bank account to paypal while it was a brand new account. Rang up support and they confirmed that I triggered one by trying to add it a few times. Said to wait 24-48hrs and try again, so i did, and it worked. Then anorher 2 days latter I set up my sellers account, saw great limits, was happy, then refreshed...

So thats why this was extra interesting to me. Also, I had no vcc added to either paypal or ebay... Sooo... Mby if i repeat the proccess, dont jump the gun with thr bank and add a vcc before activating the sellers account. I can keep that 100 items:D

Also I registered Ebay as personal and paypal as bussiness I think(hqve to double check when I get b home) should you generally not mix the personal /business between ebay/PayPal? Dont remember anything in the guide, maybe I just cant remmeber

It's the first account you created?
Or you have made other accs too and this is the first time you got something like that

I've had this happen on new accounts. Usually, this ends up meaning you will be banned. Automatic bans for listing items as soon as you create a new account are generally within 30 minutes, but sometimes it can be a few days.

Do you know what changes need to be made to make this not happen? I've been running into this isssue a lot lately.

yes sometimes this happen. It is liek "yellow flag" - they see something, but it is not critical
