eBay auction & nearly hitting monthly selling limit question

Interesting dilema.

I'm about to hit my monthly selling limit (allowed to sell up to £300), but what happens if I set up an auction (say £100 start) on an item that will sell for about £600? I've tried setting it up as a (£600) BIN, but it won't allow me (for obvious reasons).

Clearly this will take me over my monthly selling limit, so what usually happens in this scenario?

what if there were +2 auctions LIVE in the same time, will it be deleted if there were no bids yet?

Difficult to predict this - I have had times when both went on alright, sometimes one was removed during. Usually I have found that if both listings get through and are posted, they are usually ok to proceed even though this should be avoided.

I wouldn't thought so. It would be a terrible buying experience for any bidders if ebay just pulled your auction halfway!

Also true but eBay has msged buyers before about pulling listings retrospectively as well....for buyer protection purposes... :shhh:

Have never come across selling limits on Ebay before. Is there a set limit or is it case by case?

it's not always z good thing to get attention to your account.
If you're hitting the monthly limits and your account is in good standing, the system will tend to auto increase your limits.
