Account Suspended After Listing Posted

So, I created a couple of stealth eBay account, fully verified (credit card, PayPal, phone). PayPal was verified as well (bank account, credit card). As soon as I listed my first item, my eBay accounts were literary suspended in 2-5 min... WTF??? No explanations were provided except extremely retarded generic eBay message totally lacking any valuable info.

You may think I've listed something "illegal"? Well, I was going to sell Windows 10 license activation keys, and my listings were identical to dozens of other listings selling exactly this product!!! And selling by hundreds and thousands! Why would eBay ban me and not them? Piracy is piracy...

What eBay is doing is a total disaster from customer service perspective, and the eBay website itself is so outdated when it comes to usability it's unbelievable... Not sure why people still buy and sell there...

But anyway, what have I done wrong? And what should I do to list my products successfully? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

You're a new seller trying to list a high risk item as your first. You need to build legit sales with low risk items first.

Sorry, may be I'm stupid, but I totally fail to understand your point. If a product is "illegal", noone should be allowed to sell it. If it is legit and ALLOWED to be sold, selling it can't be a reason for a ban. Selling legit items for a while can't be an excuse for selling illegal ones later. The rules are the same for everyone. New accounts may have certain limits (e.g. quantity of products they sell), but that's it.

If what you've said is correct, it should be documented in eBay rules. Any reference to those?

Get permission from Microsoft to sell their product and you may have more success. Also, there is a big difference between posting a high risk item on an aged account and listing it on an account that you just created.

It also might have to do with you selling digital sales with a brand new account. I have never sold any digital items only physical item so. Are using an authentic mailing address.

Well it has happened already in my category. All counterfeit listing and accounts are being suspended indefinitely.

I am somewhat sure that it is not the first item you decide to list that gets your account locked (obviously, by saying "not the first item" I don't suggest listing a Ferrari), I think the accounts get locked by the way the accounts were created/ their activity prior listing the item(s).

Ebay's house, Ebay's rules.

Learn to adapt or fall by the wayside. Common sense doesn't always apply in business.

I agree to an extent... Just go something cheap... I am not even trying to sell the item, i'm just trying to not get the account suspended. I would go with something sorta cheap and non brand name if possible..

Think. Chinese generics. eg,,, unbranded drumsticks
