By any chance, has eBay changed anything lately when something is being sold? I've recently listed an item for sale and I have a number of watchers. It's the cheapest and it's already been listed for two days. No sale is generated and I'm left wondering as I usually sell them in a couple of hours. Is this normal?
Has anyone experienced anything like this?

The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
I never bother about new listings not gaining traction unless roughly 10 days have passed - and that's for a fast-selling item.
Be patient. You'll eventually gain your place on the search results.

The thing is, the item is already appearing in the search results ranking 1st place for cheapest and also 4th place for Best Matched items. That's why I'm worried because I usually sell these items really quick!
And, Immediate Payment is chosen as a Payment option.
It takes most listings 3 days to "grow legs" and run. This is because customers are already "watching " same item from other sellers that have had it listed longer. Most buyers simply purchase from their watchlist when they are ready to buy.
At the best price, you will not have long to wait to sell your item as one of your new watchers will hit the buy button soon...
have you asked your friend to search and see if you are still up high on search listing?
Ebay admitted they rotates listings so we all have a chance to shine!

Yes, I've also tried from other computers and I'm still ranking on the top!
May I ask what payment methods are you guys using when selling your items? Which VCC service are you using?
Could it be that buyers are trying to buy something, but for some strange reason the purchase isn't going through and so they can't buy the item? It's kinda odd that none of my items have been sold yet these are usually sold withing days, if not few hours.
Are other peoples selling? If you are ranking on top on a two day old listing, it can not be all that popular of an item to begin with. Maybe not many people are buying it.

Yes, they are being sold on other listings. I just can't understand why not mine
Go to seller hub --> Performance --> Traffic and post a snapshot for your listing showing the
Listing impressions, Click-through rate, Listing page views, and Sales conversion rate
We'll be happy to let you know what's happening to your listing.
In addition to what Yankee says, I suspect you're coming up number one in search but only to yourself. This can occur if you're searching for the item using your titles or very close to your titles.
Search it with your buyer in mind.
Buyers are unlikely to search for :

One seller called Ebay and asked why nothing is selling, and the Ebay rep said-be patient, your turn will come.
What he means is that EBAY is rotating our items so we all have a chance to get some sales.
I have multiple seller IDs,some would get sale this week and some another week, this could be Ebay rotating sellers listings, there are just too many .
