Maybe the virus is more likely to be transmitted via living things - so goods are still good to go.

I have not herd of a flight ban of any kind yet. The news I received last night is that China fees they have it under control and it already slowing down. Talk of a vaccine being close as well.

132 death/5974 cases reported.I think the numbers are higher.
Wuhan mayor said Beijing has imposed on some restriction on how he can report the situation.

80% of the goods out of china carried by cargo flight.
there are a few carried by passenger flight yes but they have very limited spaces.
the suspension notice are for passenger flights only

but what I worried about is the customs(especially BIO department) in your country could be super strict for chinese imported goods (needed to pass moist heat sterilization from what I heard)
so expect some delayed for the goods from china from now.
they will be moved out yes.

and same as via sea freight.they all need to pass some test or sterilization before they got released.

I giving a link of latest updated infomation within china

https://news.sina.cn/zt_d/yiqing0121

if you dont read chinese that is ok,just looking at the first china map picture
that is the infection numbers in each province. by the number range on the right side.

you may save this image ,ask your chinese supplier to point out where are they and where they send goods to you,so you have an rough idea how much risk you are taking.

as I chinese I can confirm right now the most dangerous location still the HUBEI province and it under lockdown.other provinces not showing any insane infecting numbers yet as of today 30th JAN

I will update for you guys few days later.

There is a difference between passenger flights and goods flights. the ban is only for passenger flights, I think so. (Not sure about it) I would do deep google research to figure this out.

Most sellers here do not buy in bulk which would be shipped by freight planes.
Their Chinese sellers are shipping via China Post,DHL,or via HK Fed Express.
DHL does not have its own plane, but Fed Exp does.

I haven't noticed any delay on orders placed the week prior to the Chinese new year. Factories are going to be up and running by the end of next week, so that'll be the true test when orders are shipping out again.
In other words, only time will tell.

My Chinese supplier says their government's decision can be changed at any time. They still don't know the exact date they start working and shipping goods because workers can't get warehouses due to towns isolation.
Does anybody here work with chinese suppliers? I really don't know what to do with ebay orders.

cancel the orders, call Ebay and ask if it would hurt your metrics,in the past with hurricanes etc,Ebay had made allowance not to ding the seller performance and extend the date of delivery
