API Calling Linkage
 

I am a developer and wrote some tools for order management via eBay API. All accounts share the same API account key. This works fine for non-stealth accounts. But I don't know what's going on for stealth accounts. I haven't tried yet.

I'd suggest testing with some stealth accounts?

Testing would be easy and it will save a lot of time on order management, tracking number uploading and M2M management. It would a disaster if eBay starts to review accounts on API calling level.

May be it's not fine even for non-stealth accs cause the whole net speaks how API software flags accounts. And what's the difference between stealth and non-stealth in this case. If stealth and non-stealth account have the same API key = 2 linked accounts.

Most commercial solutions for shipping, messaging, etc, connect all customers account via one API key and I presume this is because eBay allows them only one developer account.
So why does eBay not suspend all their clients?
I presume it is because eBay knows their business model which is to provide customers with a service that allows us to manipulate data on eBay via a single API key. Simply put: eBay know they're hundreds or thousands of customers all accessing eBay via such service, hence they cannot all be stealth belonging to one person.

On the other hand, I would presume you would be quickly suspended if you tried to run stealth accounts with an in-house, non-commercial solution that attempts to do the same for your own personal stealth accounts.
I'm tempted to guarantee you that but...
