if you have an item which is really worth 10K,you can take it to a reputable dealer or auctioneer,no need to sell on fleabay

I don't think Christie's or Sotheby's have much of a presence in mainland china.

China has its own auction houses, Christie has an office in HK,not sure about Soetheby.
you can mail the item to the auction house if it is overseas.
