Just wondering would a landline make my stealth account stronger than a mobile phone?

Mobile does not raise suspicion, but a landline helps strengthen your account. It appears to carry some Creedence as regards the legitimacy of your business. This is also true even outside of eBay / PayPal. Some distributors here in the UK wouldn't let me complete trade account application if I did not leave my landline on the application.

My two landline accts got 25k opening limit, 2 cell numbers got 5/500

On the paypal side, Landline.
On the eBay side I found it to be a toss up.

Nowadays people are on mobile phone, so I think the ones who still have landlines are the older generation.

Don't you have to register your real name and address with a landline?

I would think that the caller ID and public account information (white pages, etc) would make a landline a terrible choice for stealth.
A prepaid mobile phone can be registered in any name, anywhere...seems stealthier and safer to me.

I'd go for a cell phone with multiple sims.
Cheap and flexible.

I dont think you need ID to get a landline?
never think of it,say if you rent a room to someone and he wants another landline,I dont think he will have problem getting it,no different than the landlord getting a second line.
