How come my Selling limit decreased?
 

I've had my US stealth for almost 3 years now. Haven't really run into any problems with exception to 1 vero about 2 years ago.

Anyway, I've been raising the limit naturally, slowly but surely. My dollar limit was 500k a few months ago. I've been using about 80% of that every month (trying to not get into the red). Then suddenly the limit lowered to 375K without notice. My GTC listings started to fail to renew because I was above my 375k limit.

I didn't think much of it then and just adjusted my listing quantities and relisted the failed renews to stay in the yellow of 375k. I got it back up to 500k, then a few months later it happened AGAIN. Since then I got it back up to 500k.

But can anyone tell me what's going on? It's not like got a violation or anything. I didn't make any changes to my account aside from making new listings.

Something about your selling practices are giving eBay the impression that you can't handle the 500k limit. It's all automated and based off of account metrics.

Yes, but I haven't gotten hit except that one time years ago. Back then I think my dollar amount limit was around $20k. I've since raised it up to 500k. That's when this decreasing happened. It's only the dollar amount that they decreased... my units limit never decreases and is super high.
