Ebay will start Managing Payments! Bye Bye PayPal !
 

Hi guys . I just got a message from ebay the other day explaining how ebay will start managing Payments and money will be paid directly into the Bank Account of the seller which will eliminate Paypal .

How does this will affect us with Stealth Accounts ?
Will eBay see the account name ?
We will be able to add any bank account with diffremt name ?

Will this mean end of stealth or a good thing for us since we don’t have to deal with Paypal anymore :cheer:

We just have to wait and see. Carry on with business until you are forced to sign up.

Apparently in the US not everyone is still on board managed payments yet so it could still be a few years.

It's strange how this has taken so many UK sellers completely by surprise, despite the fact that managed payments has been extensively discussed here in regards to USA accounts for the past 3 years.

I used one of my EB (stealth) accounts where the PP was limited to sign up to it. We'll see what happens and I'll update everyone.

They are in UK,they think MP would be not coming to UK soon.
But now it seems it is stricter than USA,as the UK banks expect name match.

eBay was saying all last year that they intended to start rolling out MP in the UK in the first half of 2020, but hey, hindsight is 20/20.

I will say it will be interesting to see how the new banking regulations in UK are going to play out in regards to stealth accounts. :pop2:
