Issue with listing product.
 

This is an old ebay account from 2015-2016. I haven't used it for 11 months. When I listed two products which total around 70$. The third product I listed got the following:

Choose how you'd like to receive your confirmation code
Select a phone number and whether you'd like a phone call or text message.

(xxx) xxx-xxxx
By clicking Phone call or Text message, you're agreeing to share your contact information with eBay partners to help verify your account.

This was second option in case if no phone number.

Call us at 1-866-540-3229 and mention security code ***********. This is not the same confirmation code to confirm your account.

I don't have access to phone number anyone. I did call ebay and they told me they would have to do a public check. Got two foreigners. So will this go away or this account for ebay is dead in the water. Thanks

You couldn't be more wrong!

OP you just need to build more cookies i had the same problem with my old eb. Didn't used it for 1.5 year and when i tried to list they asked me for sms.

You need to brows every day and after a week try to list like a pen.
Don't list in Hot categories.
Mine allowed me to list on health and beauty but not in software.

I appreciated it. Going to do that. It’s so funny their amazon and all of these selling app companies. eBay needs to stop screwing around. Honestly 11% fee for absolutely doing nothing.
