Stealth Account a Decade Old Changing Owner Information?
 

My eBay stealth account was created by me around 10 years ago. Still going strong, with long activity, top rated, massive amount of feedback. Its under a business account.

Ebay allows you to change the owner information, has anyone ever done this? Changing to their real name?

All my current information, besides name would not be linked to my very, very old limited account. I live on the other side of the world.

NOT saying I'm doing this, just wondering if I ever had to, has anyone ever had success? No other information would have to change.

I haven't done this but I can imagine it would trip up security flags

I did change name and address on ebay. No issues.

I have done over 100 times on many accounts without any issue, this cause issue on new accounts

I think the bots that inititally sweep new accounts, stop sweeping established accounts. So you can get away with changing user details / changing paypals etc.

I have done that on numerous accounts now and ebay are fine with it. Still selling as normal.

I changed the name on two of my accounts. No issues. This was more than a year ago. With one of the accounts I signed up for managed payments and went through the verification with the new name (My real name) and I had no issues.

Those that did change their info and were fine, did you also change the address?
Was the address you switched to also the address from your suspended accounts?
