Default Ebay, the biggest capital machine in the world

Due to regulatory restrictions across the United States, we have chosen to ban certain items listed on our site.

Effective immediately, eBay will block new listings and start to remove listings that sell:

Health care masks including N95/N100 and surgical masks
Hand Sanitizer/Gel
Disinfecting Wipes

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and quickly remove any listing that mentions COVID-19, coronavirus, 2019nCoV (except books) in the title or description.

These listings may violate applicable US laws or regulations, eBay policies, and exhibit unfair pricing behavior for our buyers.

To learn more about the eBay policies, we invite you to read our three most relevant policies on this topic: Prescription and over-the-counter drugs policy, Disaster and Tragedy policy, Search manipulation policy.

We will continue to communicate updates through this announcement board, so please stay informed here.

Our thoughts are with all those affected by Coronavirus.

When did capitalism violate any laws ?

" These listings may violate applicable US laws or regulations, eBay policies, and exhibit unfair pricing behavior for our buyers. "

Laws, was just one of the possible reasons they gave for this.

USA has never been purely capitalist. Our economy was in its most capitalist state before standard oil was split up by the government into dozens of smaller companies.

Was anti-trust regulation necessary? Maybe. The Rockefellers at that time had more power than Congress.

Regardless, this isn't a capitalist economy we have now. More like some kind of combination of communism and capitalism. Pure capitalism would mean no central government, with whatever corporation possessing the most resources controlling the nation. Probably not the best idea TBQH. Instead of SSN's, Americans would have microsoft registration numbers.

It's also anti-capitalist for your government to tell you that you aren't allowed to sell cocaine, even though it's insanely profitable. Any kind of regulations on business are anti-capitalist. But that's the way it is.
