That should at least start the phone verification but it doesn't always get me to the automatic payment method screen; the link for that is:

Awesome, i'll give it a try. I just don't want to get suspended right now, while i can't call in.. But, at the same time. The phone expires in 7 days :( Maybe signup with one phone # and then add a google voice afterward, that may work.

If you want to have the account fully prepared for listing you'll need to add a payment method, but just using the first link and doing the phone verification is enough if you just want to have the account officially considered a "seller account"; you'll find out if the account is good enough or not (i.e., if it's going to be suspended or not) in 30 minutes after phone verification, even if you don't add the payment method.

OP, if this is a serious issue you're having, I'd suggest just using the first link to get the account set up as a seller one, waiting the 30 or so minutes and only adding the automatic payment method once you actually want to list.

A lot of times,. they don't even ask me for a payment method. The key is, i can't call ebay right now, i just want it ready. I'll list and get suspended whenever their phones open up. There are other ways, but they are pains in the asses getting reinstated via social media.

Yes, sometimes he does not ask for a payment method. He just wants phone approval.

Yes, :) Depends on a lot of factors. It doesn't happen every time, but the more they trust.. the less they ask

he was simply asking a question he was not sure about, just because he has been a member for a long time does not mean he should know the answer

I only have ran into some issues. i was buyng accounts for a long time 10-15$ each in bulk from skype seller who is now gone, prices increased now from anyone else, so i had to get back in the game to my roots and create accounts. Which ive been doing.
So far this method hasn't got me a suspended account yet. Ive been waiting 5-6 days and then listing 1 item as auction and it now is past 36 hours and its up. i just posted a fixed priced listing and its not visible, unlike the other.So we'll see if that triggers a suspension or not. I also added inkfrog shipstation etc.. so maybe those could be flags too, however it didnt lock up the first listing.
