first listing on Ebay
 

is there anyway to make the first listing appear in 12 hours?
for all my recent new accounts first listing take 48 hours to appear

THERE is promoted listing ,you can find out more on Ebay,but new listings usually take up to 48 hours to show up

Promoted listing is not available on newer accounts.

We have no control on that. It's usually 24-48 hours, or even sooner, or later than that.

If you pay for a store subscription you qualify for promoted listings. Just contact an ebay rep and tell them to activate it since you paid for a subscription and they will

This is typical for new account creations. Sometimes it persists for the first 30 days or more. I often have accounts i make, the listing is immediately available though. Just luck i guess

How many FB have you got?

I am in the UK and found that I require AT LEAST 50 feedback (dif sellers) in order for my listing to appear

I've had listings waiting 6-12 hours to appears and others just took a few minutes.

New accounts can take 24 to 48 hours to show in the listings but it has listed and hidden like a listing that has run out of stock. After a short while that will stop.

I undersatnd but I'm asking about first list...
aftaer creating new account can I list immediately? eBay will not lock my account? or better wait with first list?

I listed first listing - used puzzles. Account suspended within minutes (used proxy IPburger, fresh email, name and phone)

I am in the same wait period, listed item its 30 hours and still not live on site. contcted 3 times on ebay chat and they advised to wait as listing is in what they call is some "indexing period". They said it normally takes 24 hours but it may take upton 72 hours. They said, if seller revises the listing inbetween then indexing period duration will timeout and it'll take another 24-72 hours.

have you tried going to the category where you listed your item and ask for latest listing and see if it is there?
I have a shop and sometimes I will dispose my grocery coupons so some one can use it,lately it is sold within hours .of course I dont ask for much as it costs me nothing,just to cover fees and postage with no tracking while other sellers ask for more to turn a profit

Nice - seems low risk household stuff
