Here is my situation

I am close to purchasing an eBay/PayPal account from a friend. It’s an aged account open since 2005. I have a few questions:

1. Once purchased will this need to have a dedicated IP address?
2. Should any information on this account be changed or can it stay the same?
3 How do I switch to a business account without raising a flag? Can I convert to a business account so he doesn’t get his with taxes?
4. This account is established and verified. I can’t make a mistake with this account.
5. Should this account have a VCC attached or a virtual bank account?

If anyone has any knowledge please help me.

1. You don't 'need' to but it doesn't hurt. The important thing is the IP solution be a solid one and one that has not been used with any other account.
2. If your friend doesn't have any issues with his personal info being used I see no reason to change it. I would change the email and phone number to ones you have access to.
3. Start operating to account first before jumping to upgrading it. Worry about that later on.
4. That sounds like a statement - not a question. And a completely wrong statement at that.
5. I assume youre referring to the paypal account. A VBA cannot be used to withdraw your funds . Youll need to add your own real bank account to it for that.

On a sidenote - the whole idea of mixing friends and business has been discussed many times. I myself am completely opposed to it. Too many things can go wrong. But that's just me.
