Coronavirus Surgical Cleansing goods

Any advice with selling hand sanitisers and surgical sterilisers during this time?

I am a pharmaceutical provider during my day job.

Is this likely to be risky even with a business ebay account? Struggled with requested invoice doctoring on previous (suspended) account.

Only approved existing sellers can sell sanitisers, masks etc so your chances are effectively zero

And how does one get approved??

These days one does not.
Don't even bother trying to profit off this situation. Its a rather crappy thing to do anyway.
The nice thing to do would be to donate those goods to your local hospital - from what Im hearing pretty much all the hospitals in the UK are in dire need of such items.

Not so much on the hand sanitiser now as a new factory has just opened that can produce 1 million a month with a large percentage of that going to the NHS for free

It’s more the high-end equipment like a ventilator that there was a bit of a struggle for, but a couple of the Formula One teams I have come up with a solution and there’s been a large order placed with Dyson as well for ventilators now

I think they were still struggling for some PPE though for a while

Having said that everyone helps!

Thanks for advice.

Already donated 10k aprons and 500 gowns.
They didnt want the sanitiser. Said they had enough now.

I cant really give too much more. Much in the same way a shop wouldnt invite folk in for a trolley-dash.

And my prices were realistic and did not take the p@@s unlike some bellends that are still selling it.

Right on - keep mindfulness of the profit margin as well...don't overextend the donations

Because there is zero sanitiser in the shops or Amazon and like i say, all current ebay sellers are taking the piss.

Nothing sudden. I was selling them before on a personal account and they said i was not authorised with said personal account. So now i have a freshly purchased business account.

And not as busy as the media makes out actually.

You don't, as I said you have to be a current supplier in good standing and even then many have been blocked.

I guess you could apply, you might get an answer and maybe even approval when this virus mess dies down.

Preapproved sellers on Ebay selling one FFP2 KN95 N95 CE mask for £9.50. They are selling thousands per day. Ching Ching for them, and not considered price gouging. Duh.
Its not what you have, its who you are on ebay.

They may be pre-approved to sell medical supplies or in the business/industrial category, but all those listings will be removed in a day. Anyone who has sold over 20 qty of a PPE item hasn't had their listing up over a day.
