opening emails?
 

Is it safe to open eBay emails from a phone that has had a banned eBay account on it?

I want to use it for notifications of orders, instead of logging in to my stealth user account on my laptop every time just to check.

I would use the outlook app for mobile.

Yeah that's fine, as long as you not click on any link in the email you should be ok

There you are - you have 2 opinions - take your choice (and your chances of course)

I'm not sure how much a second hand phone is but probably too much so best to risk it

You can always reset the phone to factory default if youre that concerned about it.
if the emails are opened through a regular browser you should be fine (assuming you do not attempt to click and open any links that might connect to the app).

Yes you can open emails but it is essential to disable images or they WILL link you eventually (like a year from now when your new account is well established).
