Cheapest shipping with tracking USA
 

Stamps.com charge $20 a month and provide 2.69$ envelope with tracking.
Any other better offers?

I'd like to hear the answer to this as well. I don't understand how some sellers, particularly ones in China/HK, can list at $1-2 shipped. I understand the idea behind loss leaders and such. And the value in a transaction towards the account. Yet some of these sellers only sell these items and in large quantities.

I recall many years ago sending letters and getting the green delivery confirmation sticker for a very small fee, I think it was like $0.35 or something at the time. Anyone know if something like this is still possible?

Some sellers will take a loss on small item shipping in order for the larger sales to make up on the difference - just an idea worth noting

It's not. I used to cheat and put tracking stickers on flats shipped for $1.20-$1.41 but it got me into trouble with our local postmaster after a few years. She threatened to have my license revoked so I stopped.

The cheapest for small shipments these days is USPS First Class, which starts around $2.61.

You guys can use pirateship instead. Gives the same rates as stamps.com without the monthly subscription fee.

There's nothing wrong with using them as long as you've paid for a mail class that includes tracking.

I got in trouble for using a mail class that doesn't include tracking (First class flats) because I was putting tracking stickers on the label and getting them all scanned/tracked.

Chinese government pay for their shipping with their company called EMS and others. They basically want them to sell Chinese product so they provide them with this benefit. Smart move by Chinese government

Postal meter license. Anyone who prints postage online technically has one. It's something I learned a long time ago when looking over stamps.com's terms and conditions.
