My son lost his job because of the virus, but got one a week later making $5000 a year more. So he was lucky. Some industries are booming because of virus.
| I mean, he can still get jobless benefits, which depending on how much he was making and lives, can be as much as $1100 a week. plus the $1200 bonus. lol 70% of people who lost their jobs, will be earning more money than when they had the job. So PTO with bonus pay. Not the best vacation.. but hey.
Being furloughed, you'd think he would be even less worried. He still has his job, and more than likely health benefits and 401k contributions. |
