iCard withdrawals?
 

Hello!

I used iCard (still available in the UK) to attach to my PayPal, I can pay my eBay fees with it, but I noticed that it doesn't have a sort code or account number

So does anyone know if I can withdraw money from Paypal to the iCard?

No, ICard has only Ibans.
You can attatch the Icard Ibans to any european Paypal account. (note that the name of the PP acc holder has to match with the Icard acc owner or the payment will be send back to paypal)

You can attatch a debitcard to your UK pp acc but the debitcards are recognized as EUR cards so it is not possible to withdraw money from paypal to Icard.

I recomend you Revolut since you get a sortcode and a banknumber there and with premium you can create debitcards which supports withdrawals from paypal. I have currently connected 5 paypals to one revolut account and can withdraw money to the debitcards.

If you are looking for something free use monese, transferwise, starling or monzo. they all provide a UK sortcode and accountnumber

Have u ever had any issue with Revo for mismatched name withdrawals ?

no, I used the EUR Iban for EUR account and the UK acc for UK ac**** for almost 1 year with a wrong name. never had a problem.

I have 2 revolut accounts and both recceived over 100k EUR in total on wrong names.

transfers on a debitcard do not have a "receiver" so there are no missmatched names when transfering on a debitcard
