Buying right before auction ends but not paying after the auction
 

Is this happening to anyone else? Happens 75% now for items over $500. It’s only started happening after Covid for me. I’m assuming ppl are bored so they bid it up but then decide not to pay. so annoying!

How can he block them,they are random people bidding at the last minute?..:confused:

Thanks it's annoying AF. They bid last minute then tell me they won't pay next day. I have to wait 2 days to open a case, then 3-5 more to close it. Cancelling the sale won't get me the selling credit back, only opening the case. Only started happening after Covid.

Does BIN require payment before checking out? If so that would be a great solution to this. I always use auction.

I quit doing auctions because of those types of asshats. If I cannot get immediate payment then I usually dont sell it. And in the slight event that I do do an auction, I will set the unpaid case as low as I can. I dont recall if it is 2 days or 4 days. And I would most definitely block them after they do not pay. Unfortunately, EB is too liberal with the unpaid buyer cases. Sellers should be able to stipulate how long they are willing to wait for a payment.

Correct ebaychic2013 :thumb: BIN requires payment to close the deal
