What's happening with ebay + Paypal?
 

I got some emails telling me about ebay taking on payments and removing Paypl - or something like that.

How does that affect everything in regards stealthing?

Will there be problems with bank accounts and needing to give new IDs?
(Even though you were perfectly OK with Paypal!)

Just scratching my head wondering if I should be worried or if there are steps I need to take to keep safe?

It's basically going to be the final nail in the coffin for stealth once it's fully implemented, but we should still have a while. Using phake identities to sell on a dozen accounts will become a thing of the past and setting up corporations will probably be the only way to sell from multiple un-linkable accounts.

eBay is doing it to make more money while also gaining more control over what happens on their site.


The impact to Paypal will be minimal since Paypal is one of the accepted forms of payment in managed payments.

i agree with you. Can I talk about paypal loading here? Am new and dont want to mess with the rules.

Your real Personal Name and Real business names is perfectly OK in the USA. Zero problems.

Stealthing on the other hand is much much harder. Here in USA they require a SS number similar to Etsy.
