Keep getting limits decreased upon creating of new ebay accoutn
 

I used to never run into this issue but when I create a new eBay account recently for stealth I keep getting my limit decreased immediately after first listing.

Here is the message I receive in my email:

We recently reviewed your selling account and unfortunately, we have decreased how much you can list on eBay. For now, here's how much you can list:

Items: 5
Amount $500.00

If you would like to list more items on eBay, we will need to know some more information about you first. There are two ways to do it...


It has happened on the about the last 10 times I have tried to make a stealth account and it always reduces to 5/500 limit. And then sometimes the account even gets banned shortly after that email.

Why?? And how to fix it. I use new virtual machine, dedicated ip, email and phone.

when they decrease it's usually one of the following:

1. You get a lot of disputes
2. Customer complaining to eBay
3. Account creation method

Dedicated IP is from IPburger?

Try using a new windows user account instead of VM.

What type of items were you selling? And are they high value?

Keep in mind this is a new account, and the first item I list when they ask for that information is usually a book.

what's the problem? if the account does not get suspended it is easy to increase

well like i said even sometimes I'll get an email saying the account has been banned shortly after that email, which leads me to believe im doing something wrong.

I think Ebay can see when you are using a Virtual Machine and they probably don't like how it looks. Plus most VPN's are detectable too.
Have you considering using a separate Windows User account for each account instead of VM, and maybe switch to a mobile wi-fi dongle if possible? After a few weeks of selling you can go back to using the VPN on each account if you prefer but a residential or mobile IP address definitely provides a lot more stability in the first month or so. I found it almost impossible to create stable accounts from a VPN in the past few months, and the ones that did survive were all low limit.
