Public Library or No?
 

Good Morning Aspkin members:


I am getting ready to purchase my first stealth ebay account and have been trying to do as much research on being stealth as i can. I have the separate laptop that has a never been used for ebay or paypal before. Got the new user setup. Got my IP addy bought.

But then I thought we go through all this trouble so we can log into these two platforms stealth like but that is because we assume we are logging in from our house which we have to hide. What if you only ever logged into these platforms from a local source like a library. You name is not attached to any info at some place like that or maybe just a starbucks.

Please let me know what I am missing here cause I am sure I am.

There was a time Ebay will link accounts using the same PC in library or mail service places,but by now Ebay knows these are public PCs.
You may want to ask this question on Ebay seller forum or search its past posts

I have used the library. I have used several different libraries in different areas
We had tornado here this spring and it took internet out and I had to use library to do my shipping labels through eBay.
Never had a problem.
Not saying you won't. My account is established. Therefore that may be why not no issues.

OP, avoid public open IPs when possible due to potential of abuse/bad use by other ppl in the past - dangerous for health of your own accounts
