Pre 11/07 acct. linked but not suspended?
 

I have a pre 11/07 eBay account in good standing (meaning no previous suspensions or unpaid strikes/fees) that I've been using for selling and buying small items for my own personal use.

My (legit) PP business acct. was limited, and I got the oh-so-wonderful "we don't want to do business with you" email from PayPal. At the same time, my personal acct. that I used for eBay was also limited because I logged in from the same IP, and in turn, my eBay account was limited (guess why I bought the stealth book? ;)).

I know that a SUSPENDED account is obviously no good, but in my case, I never got any sort of notification from eBay in regards to my account after it was linked (all the information is legit, so I would've definitely known if it was suspended), and when I log into eBay, it just says "Attention eBay Member" and tells me that I need to resolve my matter with PayPal. I'm still able to access and use eBay with no problem (haven't purchased or sold anything yet just because I don't need to, but plan to sometime in the future).

I know that a pre 11/07 acct. does not require PayPal, and I did a mock listing and was able to go through the process and choose to accept CCs only instead of PayPal. I didn't test to see if I could actually list it because I don't have anything to sell just yet, so I suppose my selling ability could be limited for all I know.

Would I be "safe" selling on this acct. (if it does work) despite it being linked if I don't choose to receive PayPal? Or, at the bare minimum, would I be okay buying with this account?

it doesent matter if you want to just use the account for buying...if you log in with the same ip you will get kicked..
