Ebay Automatic Payment Method Error

Hello,
Today I tried adding automatic payment method on two different accounts and was getting an error asking me to use a different payment option, I want to use direct debit but just keep getting an error : We're sorry. We weren't able to set up pre-approved payments at this time. Please try again later.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I'm having the same error too, check my thread post history. Apparently it's happening to lots of people not just myself so thank goodness for that.

I heard that The card must have an amount of 0.1 to be charged :eek:

I think It's a new update that was a part of the new agrremnt :"I hereby authorize the relevant eBay entity from which I purchase a service and with which I have an agreement to debit my credit card for any charges that I will incur or have incurred since my last billing date in connection with my purchase of the eBay services. I understand that the amount charged may vary from month to month. I further authorize eBay to initiate an authorization for $ 1 US dollar its equivalent to validate the validity of the card. That dollar is not debited from my credit card or credited to my eBay seller account. "

I had the issue for 1 day only on 8 accounts. On all accounts I was able to add the Automatic Payment method the next day.
