Gmail recovery

I am having an issue about gmail. I tried to login accidently from different browser and it asks me to enter recovery email which I do not have access too .

Even when password is accurate. Any way to recover access to gmail?

Yeah, no number and questions my mistake not to set them. It happened when I tried to access email from a different browser which before I never did.

I'll try new browser and I was using mobile hotspot.

Can we update recovery email address to a different one on ebay? would it create an issue?

I'd till pursue the google account security route first as I suspect that changing the ebay email address will require access to the old one or the attached phone number - do you have the latter or was it the same as the gmail account?

I was able to go to ebay and change the primary email address and it went through fine !! yayyyy !!
same thing I did with paypal and it went fine . It was risky though. Tested and new notifications from ebay are coming to new email address.

ebay account was made by someone 8 months ago and I realized why not use it and it had email address I dont have access too.

I never wanted to lose the account and risked changing email it worked . HEHEHE
