can multiple accts be linked by payment details?
 

Can ebay link two accounts whose listing fees are paid for using the same credit card? My credit card issuer has a feature called secure online account numbers. It generates a random account number that you can use online. So on one account I would pay using my real acct number and on the other I would pay the fees using the random number.

The real question is, does ebay link accounts using credit card acct numbers used to pay fees or do they link accounts using the name and address of the card holder? Or do they use both? It would be ideal if it is just the former.

And I think they only have the ability to verify zip code, so you can "fudge" the name and street address. Or at least give them the wrong name and street name if it forces you to match the street number.

Most of the big banks are doing it these days and Discover too.
