Login error message with username - "Not a match"

I am having an issue logging in to new purchased eBay that I have never had before. I type in the email as the username, hit enter and a message comes up saying "Oops that's not a match."

I have only ever seen that error entering an incorrect password. I tried a few other emails, some made up, and it accepts them and goes to the next password page.

I've cleared the history and cache. Doesn't work either. I don't know what else to do. Can you suggest anything.

I am based in Australia and use a US VPN from IP Burger. When I try to login to a foreign eBay account like the US, it takes me to a verification page.

It shows an image of a puzzle and puzzle piece. I have to slide the puzzle piece into position.

I do that and it goes to the login in page. I login in

Then it goes back to the verification page - and round and round we go.

Does anyone else have this problem trying to login to foreign sites using a VPN?

Try writing out the username and password if you are copying and pasting it . That might be the problem

The puzzle picture there are 2 reasons why you are getting this 1 there are no cookies on the ebay computer user account 2 you are useing a new ip address. This happens all the time to my buyer account I dont login or remember cookies for that account

1. Make sure that the account info is correct.
2. eBay has been having a verification page glitch.
Wait a day or 2 and see if it goes away.

3. YOu can try IPBurger's Residential IP see if it makes a difference.
