eBay Payment Needed for Case
 

So my eBay account was hit with a bunch of cases all at once because the shipping was so backed up in China and everyone's asking for a refund. Customer service refunded most of the cases and now they are asking me for reimbursement. Is there any way I can get away with not paying this? I do not have an automatic payment method but I have an account that is linked to this one where I uploaded my driver's license front and back.

I requested eBay to delete my documents a few days ago on the linked but I am scared that the unpaid case reimbursement will be sent to a collections agency and will affect my credit score.
