2co

I was wondering if anybody has used 2CHECKOUT as a option for recieving payment from a completed auction.

I assume that in your listing you would check that you have your own merchant acct.

I know that you can create a html code payment button. I was thinking that in the ' Congrats you won' email you can send out, you could have the payment button included in the email.

I also see that they have just introduced a Mastercard/Debit card which would allow you to withdraw funds from an ATM.

Anybody?

I thought 2CO wasn't allowed by eBay?

I see it's not in the "approved' section, but I thought it might be able to qualify as a 'merchant acct'.

It's probably no different than using Google checkout, I was just curious if anyone had tried it.

I suppose that would answer my question.

I have a merchant acct that I use for another online business I have. Is it possible to use this merchant acct for my eBay auctions? I have only used Paypal for my auctions previously, so I'm not really familiar with the process of using the 'I have my own merchant acct option' when creating a listing.

Likewise, I would think that anything not expressly mentioned but also not denied would fit best under "merchant account" for the time being. Sooner or later, the list will be updated to either include it or forbid it.

This company now accepts paypal too. May be another good method of accepting paypal indirectly. Looks like similar fees to ccnow but higher sign up cost but looks like you get paid weekly.
