What happens if your "item not received" quota is high?

eBay tells me in their email that having a high or very high quota of item not received will result in the delivery time being pushed back on my listings, but only those listings that are directly listed on eBay.com, eBay.ca or eBay.co.uk. They excluded eBay.de which is the market where I have this high quota of item not received.

Is it the same on eBay.com? Have they pushed back the projected delivery time on your eBay.com listings or have they done it on the international eBay sites?

I can confirm this happens on .com.

A buddy of mine who dropships with me had to call in a few months ago bc eBay was giving his buyers estimated delivery times 2-3 weeks in the future.. when the majority of his orders were arriving the same week.

All of them. They all look at the estimated delivery date.

If shipments don't arrive by the date eBay estimates.. even with recent events.. buyers get fussy and start complaining. I can assure you.

And what happened then? Did they fix the issue for him?

They did. They removed a bunch of cases from his metrics, causing his estimated delivery dates to go back to 3-4 days.

How many buyers really look at the estimated delivery date ????????
Unless the seller is overseas?

from my experience I can tell you US buyers can get absolutely hysterical if their order is even one day late over ebay estimate

Sometimes I really think this lady doesn't even have an ebay account. She makes the most nonsensical comments.

I can confirm your opinion. Buyers treat the estimated delivery dates, like it was sent down from God on golden chariots. Especially when ebay "guarantees" delivery. And they WILL open a case the first second they can after the latest estimated delivery day. I'm just grateful when they don't send me a message the earliest estimated delivery day. I think Amazon has ruined everything for everyone. I'm a seller, and even I fall into the trap of wanting things right away, when amazon is able to get you an item sometimes within 24 hours.

It depends on what you sell and who is buying.
If it is food or medicine or something they need urgently OR they are reseller and have already sold your items elswhere, they must have it so they can send to their buyer.
I have been selling on EBay when Pierre runs it in his bedroom, where were you?

I've been on ebay since 1999. And if you've been on so long, than I really have no idea why you are so clueless all the time about how ebay works. It doesn't depend on what you sell. People will always complain, when ebay gives them a specific date the item should get there by . Doesn't matter if it's food or medicine, both of which I don't sell. And I know damn well no one is reselling my items.

You'll eventually get restricted and then asked to provide a bunch of documents you don't have.
