Back To Ebay After 12 Years
 

Hello Guys,
I am new too all this online internet money man I missed out on so much. I started selling on ebay in 2008, I was buying hookah pens and iphone cases. Was profiting well from these items I was buying hooka pens from alibaba for $1.25 and selling for $10-$12.

I was fairly new had a 9-5 was working in construction waking up at 5am leaving me super tired and waiting 3 days to pile up orders before I ran to the mail to mail the orders. Then one day I get suspended, I called but they didnt give me much explanation I was thinking I got banned because hookah pens had very small amount of nicotine I think. So never looked into went on with life got into real estate but man o man it is so draining, I want something more hands off and online.

My question is, is it still profitable ? If yes is there a guide on how to start a store and how to find products that are profitable ?


Is amazon better?


Shopify ?


I have the niches pretty much picked out, one of them being gun parts second one motorcycle parts.


I just dont want to get into something where your busting your ass for pennies.

I probably started off same time around as you.

Since your newly back into it, i suggest get the stealth book and read around the forum. Have your whole setup going and start off slow so you dont tie up any stock/cash.

The stealth guide would be a good place to learn the fundamentals.
Noone will share the info youre asking for with regards to what items to get into selling though. Note that the two categories you mentioned would probably be considered high risk items so youd have issues selling those (especially gun parts - if youre even allowed to sell those).

If you're aiming to be a re-seller, just focus on finding deals on products in your area of expertise (or whatever categories you prefer). You could either drop-ship or hold physical inventory and then ship products out to clients. Depending on your field, you could even try value-added reselling where you provide some tangible benefits over the typical merchandise.
