10+ sales a day after 2 weeks of selling on eBay.
 

Hi everyone,

I’m finally back selling on eBay again after 5 years of being out the game.

I’ve done things a lot different this time around and I would like to share some of my knowledge with you guys.

I have a new eBay account it’s nearly 2 months old and it’s attached to my PayPal account main bank account used this time around with TSB. No savings accounts used as from my passed experience banks don’t like seeing money going into savings accounts. I lost a lot of banks that way.

My eBay listing is now flying atm. I’ve been doing a lot of testing to get my eBay listing to the top of the page and many people will know how to do this by dropping price offering free P&P etc.

What I learnt tho is when I accumulated sales I was then able to “PROMOTE” my eBay listing anywhere from 1% to 20%. I had no idea on how much my competitors were promoting their adds by.

I tried a few percentages and then eventually put it to 20% and my listing was at the top. I knew my competitors were sponsoring their listings much less and I needed to find this info out.

What I did was get in touch with eBay live chat and explain to them if I lower my ad rate my listing drops they were then able to tell me my competitors add listing percentage which was 8%.

At the moment I may be taking a small loss or breaking even but having this knowledge is an advantage going forward. Being at the top on a new account and selling 10+ a day can only be a good thing in terms of my sales history and then ultimately I can increase my price and lower my ad rate. I hope this thread will help a lot of people going forward with selling on eBay.

my first 3 days in ebay physical i did a revenu 600 usd ( only listing first day and no promote listings ), 0 experience at all . it's easy you don't spend nothing from your money just look at the products that are working and don't copy do better than him that's it

The market that I’m selling in is very crowded so my listing was on page 4 to 6 to start off with. I dropped the price got some sales in and my listing then went to page 2 but now I’m at the top selling 10+ a day.

I’ve literally copied the top rated seller on what their doing obviously my description is different but by “SPONSORING” my listing it’s definitely helped.

Just can’t wait to lower my percent rate and then my profits will be higher.

when i started i didn't focus in top rated sellers since i can't share the competition with them , i did stop since my paypal didn't want to be linked with my us bank can't withdraw :/ i will need to fix this then came back with 5 or 6 accounts will definitly add another stream of income from physical as well , you too thanks

Do you dropship from “amazon”, “aliexpress” or from somewhere else ?
How do you find potentially good products to sell ?

Sponsored ads work well I usually just go 5-8%, as the FSV & PP fees cut too much into profits, and you’re relying on eBay that the sale “actually” came from a sponsored link.

I absolutely hate it though when other sellers literally copy & paste my titles or descriptions. I do all the thinking & creativity, and some lazy ghouls steal it.

Very annoying I hear you - sadly, tough to fight the text copy-pasting but images can be watermarked for your own use if any consolation
