Buyer Email Address Website Marketing
 

Can you include your website domain to eBay buyers after purchase in an email body where you are sending them tracking information and other information about their order? I prefer to send me tracking information and return labels to the buyers email address (they seem to respond back to me more often this way), and I am wondering if I can marketing my website here.

THe safest way to do it is to include a postcard in your package with your item.
It's more accepted.

When you print the delivery note/Invoice their email address and phone number are on it - simple cut and paste into a spread sheet

Ebay - there is a way to harvest emails in Paypal but Ebay is easier

Can someone give a definitive answer and point to some policy urls? More accepted doesn't really answer my question, although I appreciate your input. I grab the emails from the ebay transaction api.

Ebay seriously does not like buyers and sellers communicating 'off Ebay'. If you tell Ebay you are collecting your buyers information to conduct an email marketing campaign it is a racing certainty you will be needing a new account

If you are determined to do it (and personally I do not see any problems with it - but hey ho) then do not involve Ebay or Paypal. Just quietly harvest what you need and go about your business
