eBay listing vanished
 

Hi everyone,

So yesterday my eBay listing vanished and today I would like to talk a little bit about it and where I am now.

So a quick insight of my eBay account. It was actually an Asia account however I changed everything over to UK apart from currency which did bother me seeing a different currency in selling hub but yesterday evening I spoke to eBay live chat about ad rates and they then pointed out the currency is not in GBP and then kindly changed it for me.

I then went to “revise” my listing and change the ad rate from 20% to 8% to then find out moments after my eBay listing vanished it was active but no longer in the search results.

I went to eBay live chat and they told me a time it will be visible again true to their word it was visible again. However my eBay listing was a mess it was “sponsored” but sponsor wasn’t showing above the listing and it was back to square 1 sitting on page 4 and page 5.

eBay live chat wasn’t much of a help when it came down to this situation so I had to take it into my hands. I changed the “quantity” to 1 and then the listing was back at page 1 again I then put my normal stock in and my listing went back to page 4 again. I made another revision and changed the price and it was back to page 1 and then changed to my normal price and it stayed at the top.

So what I have learnt is when an item re indexes itself after a change and your listing is not where it should be by doing a few revisions your listing should go back to where it was if I would of left the listing then it would most likely be sitting on page 4 or 5 again. I hope this can help anyone out in the future.
