In the UK, I reckon they take their pent up revenge out with restrictions and tip offs to PayPal...the real crazyness of pigs heads is reserved for the yanks :)

US media also reported eBay staff buying up PPE during the first COVID-19 wave, flipping it for profit(s). Ironically, price gouging is forbidden on eBay.

So not too surprised regarding the nefarious antics of senior management. Former CEO definitely in, just had good legal rep to dodge a bullet.

Crazy ... but they are human after all. Despite what you may think, it's a real person on the other side and if they want they can steal your successful business idea and replicate it themselves (like amazon does), ban you for whatever reason, tip off paypal etc.

So always kiss their arse when you speak to them. Massage their egos on ebay chat and over the phone. Ask them how their day was. Be super polite. Even though in reality we couldn't give a flying f*ck.

And just remember anybody threatens to "dox" you, I have in hand experience of how that pans out. I had someone prosecuted by CPS for malicious communications. The police and CPS are only becoming more aware of online crimes and how spewing bullsh!t on social media and on the internet can affect people in real life. So don't bother with it.

If you have a problem with someone, speak to them face to face and have a fight.

I'm not surprised, I'm kind of happy this came out to the public. Now people and hopefully the government will find sellers complaints more valid regarding how ebay treats its sellers. There's so much complaints out there its ridiculous.

If anyone were to start a petition regarding major ebay issues and got enough signatures, we could probably start a movement to fix their current issues.

Feel like we, as the stealth community, would be shooting ourselves in the foot by demanding a crackdown at eBay.

Some of the same things that mainstream sellers feel are "unfair" are the things that allow us to thrive with stealth accounts.

... the last thing I want is for eBay to "fix" anything.
Once a place becomes a police state everything will become harder for us if it's not already harder each year and season.

Best not to grab their attention and just go around them and use their loopholes.
