Should you use Multiple Locations when dropshipping?
 

I want to know if Multiple Locations is okay since i want to avoid the item location misrepresentation ban

You can manually change the location in your listing - mind you, some buyers may complain if they are expecting an item to be from USA (example) and it ends up being dropshipped from another country (example: China).

Im not dropshipping from China right now due to the whole COVID situation, and ill probably avoid it in the future. When you list an item from a US based supplier do you put "Multiple Locations"? Since i dont know where exactly they will ship it from

For my US-based accounts, I have used North America as location since I ship from Canada with items in hand - I deal with more niche items and have the items in hand so I guess I have been ok since no complaints for items coming from Canada

No, you should not use multiple locations. I used 2 different zip codes on my listings, even through I never did dropshipping and eBay still thinks I was dropshipping. They said it was based on my account history. However I never dropshipped any single item in the entire account history and I always took my packages to postal office myself. Does anyone have idea what are they based on to determine your dropshipping?

Agreed, multiple locations is a bad idea.
