Selling Books

How do these people on ebay sell books for $4 when media mail cost $2.99 and ebay fees are $.40, pp .20 supplies .20 for a profit of $.21 ish.

Why would you waste your time.

Profit is profit I guess - volume....and maybe other listings up for bigger sales...

Usually if you see somebody selling with a ridiculously low profit margin it's because you're seeing a slow selling item that the seller is trying to get rid of. Especially with books.

some book sellers sell 1000's of books at prices that would be pennies of profit. Putting aside labor.

I do sell books really cheap, just to get my numbers up. But I only have dozens, not 1000's.

You cannot send a book first class no tracking. A pocket book would be like $3.24, media mail $2.95

Books 1/4" inch thick or less should be shippable as flats. Depends on how picky your PO is though. :noidea:
