Scammer comes back for seconds

So I got scammed on one account by this scammer. This scammer has the balls to do it again on a different account. I was probably not his first victim. Need to put a stop to this he is destroying people’s livelihoods. Scam me for 800$. Now doing it to another stealth. Message me if you have any revenge tactics by private message. The reason I know it same scammer he used the same name for both of the eBays.

Top rated seller on all my accounts. I haven’t had issue with stealth for 5 years. Meaning no dispute or claims.

I just want this guy to stop scamming people it’s bad

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

What is he doing ?

Scams can easily be prevented.

Going down the "revenge" tactics route is a way to incriminate yourself.

Electronics. Honestly it’s whatever if it’s just one item. But over and over again come the f***ken on. If any joe nobody can scam as long as he has computer and internet connection.

I understand what your saying James. But when scammers using forwarding parcel companies from China to scam you. It sucks. There is no jurisdiction or repercussions.

You can't block him on all your stealth account?

if you sell electronics, gold ,they can be turned into cash quickly, thats why scammers lurk on Ebay, some are full time scammers
Hot electronics there is black market, gold they melt down and jewelry with precious stones, they send overseas
Many high end watches ,used or new, ended up in a black market of Dubai

Thanks agent but did that. Ebay is only there to collect their 11% final value fee. I can’t even get support on the phone. It’s ridiculous. But thanks for heads up.
Everyone just heads up a lot china scammers. I been on eBay with stealth with no problems since 2013. Got couple of stealth running at 5-7 years as we speak. Top rated on top of that. What boils my blood is scammers. It already hard enough to sell with all the overhead. Then you got consistent scammers which is ridiculous.

Tried too but comes with different account. Scammers have multiples so watch out everyone. People from china are scamming with forwarding parcel companies. Got scammed for 800$ already

I once reported someone like that. I sent a list of usernames he used to buy and return bad items back to me and I told eBay that all usernames have the same addresses. You should give eBay the name and address when you report him. They will look into it.

Scammers are getting smart. They actually aging these accounts and buying a couple of cheap stuff

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

Once a while I will just take it as losses. You can deduct 50% from a return or call up eBay to get full refund as TRS benefits. But you can't do it too often cause eBay doesn't like that.

Hi OP. I would suggest you place a block on any buyer who has less than X feedback, then he would avoid you for a while. If its the same address and not far out, give him a visit lol. I sell electronics myself and have had similar experiences to you, its an arse ache.

how is it possible to scam someone with freight forwarder? buyer has no MBG when buy to reship address

if the op is not able to tell it to ebay its his own problem

Told them that and they don’t care. If they cared wouldn’t be posting on the forum

What if you just didn't ship to freight forwarders addresses and cancel the orders?
Or is that a big chunk of your total orders?

I didn’t know it at first. Until they filed the case. The scammer use one item per account. It was almost 2k worth of orders spread out on different stealths. It was wack a mole.

That’s right! Ebay worries first of all about their fees. But scammer finding the way. Every system is not perfect. That’s why selling expensive thing are not safe!

You can report it to ebay and they will block this address but then they will find the different address

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

Ebays trust & safety are pretty good at stopping scammers most of the time. I would just stop posting to freight companies and stop click & collect.

Most chancers hide behind those guises.

Basically the buyer received the item and then say “different item” but files it as not received. i am top rated seller with 100% feedback. Didn’t have a problem for at least 4 years

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

You can't sell electronics worth over $200 or so anymore on eBay. For scammers it is like free money. Anybody with a few credit cards can move to Paraguay or Venezuela, open a box in Doral, FL and get free iPhones all day long. Like taking candy from a baby.

With these freight forwarder buyers check their "feedback left for others". If they like to leave negative feedback send them an empty box. Items shipped to another address after delivery are not covered by eBay moneyback guarantee. Maybe the people at the freight forwarder kept it.

Who files it as not received? If it is the buyer saying not received then if you have tracking then you should be fine?

exactly. Something is missing here. ESPECIALLY if it says it was delivered to the freight forwarder, as it will show delivered. 99.99% of the time.

cafonabob1 07-27-2020 08:48 AM

Re: Scammer comes back for seconds

Many of these freight forwarders use a special zip code. For example 33195. This is a special zip code for sorting that is assigned to 7801 NW 37th St, Miami FL. But there is no geographic zip code 33195 so when the post office scans the package it will say DELIVERED 33166. If you google 7801 NW 37th St, Miami FL google results will show 33166.

If buyer opens an item not received with eBay or paypal, the buyer will win the case because it shows as delivered to the wrong zip code (33166 vs 33195). If you call and get a USA agent they will immediately google the address and see the error but a Filipino chatbot won't understand what you are talking about.

I suspect a scammer can order things on ebay and "accidentally" put the wrong zip code like 90210 vs 90120. USPS will correct the address and deliver the package but the tracking will show a different delivery zip code then what scammer put in the order and scammer would win an "item not received" case. No way to contact USA support = no way to win these cases.

Really need to be careful until there is more than human chatbot support from Paypal/eBay again.
