How long does managed payments verification take?
 

I've signed up my account for managed payments on last Wednesday and submitted the documents (ID copy & bank statement).



Does anyone know how long will it take till the verification process is completed?

ID verification took 10 minutes, I never got a confirmation that the bank statement was verified or not.

Was the verification by webcam? Or did you simply upload a copy of your ID to eBay?


What happened after ID verification was completed? Did you get a notification about when managed payments will be activated on your account?


When did you submit your docs if you don't mind me asking? I want to know because I think it is now taking them long due to COVID-19?!

Simply uploaded a copy of my ID.

After the ID verification was complete I got a message saying they will message me before my account is put on managed payments.

This was around 4 weeks ago.

I also got a message after uploading my ID along with the bank statement, it read like this:

"Thank you for registering your account for managed payments. We will notify you once the verification process is complete and before we activate your account for managed payments"


How about you? Was your message different? What happened with your account, is it now activated for managed payments?

My bank details check took 10 mins.
The ID Check never got a confirmation.

So I talk to an agent. They said that the ID Check is failed. I need to re submit it.

I assume that your bank details fails too.

Can you tell me is your id detail real or stealth?

At the moment they taking around 4 to 5 days in uk for bank statement verification
