Negative Feedback slows sales

Am I going mad but soon as I recieve a negative feedback it seems like my sales just drop ?

Does this happen to anyone else or am I just thinking its that

I see sellers with 96% feedback score and they have thousands of sales a day.

I mean the auddent drop in sales once you get the negative?? Or is it just bull and overthinking it ?

My best selling account has a 97.4% right now. Second best selling account has a 97% all my 99.9 and 100% do not sell as well as those other accounts.

I think the answer is..... it really depends. New accounts, absolutely will.

The negative feedback will impact you more if it relates to late shipping, items not received and items not as described. Just recently I believe there is a higher instance of negative feedback due to COVID-19 and frustration of being quarantined. There are sellers out there at 92% doing huge sales and that is related to having 50 or 100 thousand feedback, the higher amount of feedback lessens the negative feedback impact on sales as they will a high amount of repeat buyers.

I would go as far as saying if you leave a lot of unread mail and there isn't a lot of activity on your account it will also affect sales.

My biggest earner is the account that I always reply emails too very quickly, have 0 negatives, no late deliveries it just continuously gets a lot of sales coming through although it's selling the same items as another account.

Top Rated seller and 1-2-3% negative is not going to effect a big sellers much or at all. Service metrics are without any doubt the most important.

Everyone has a negative feedback and it’s not gonna harm your sales just in case not too mane negatives feedback.

Usually buyers not checking how many negative feedback
