ebay listing counterfeit
 

Hi guys, if i got one listing down due to being counterfeit and ebay suspended the account for 3 days, there is a way to eliminate this suspension from my account? or the next time the suspension will be 7 days?

I mean if i don't get another suspension for like 3-4 months my account will be again clean? or the first suspension will be forever attached to my account?

You can get the suspension again. List this listing on different account and you will be fine some time

I don't want to put it in another account I want to know if after some time my account will be clean if I don't get another suspension

You keep selling that same ****, you'll get suspended for good.

Time fixes everything. The stain cannot be removed but it lessens and fades as time passes.

It will always be there, but the longer the account is aged, the better it will survive suspensions. Just wouldnt repost on that account for awhile, Normally 7 day, 30 day then toast.

All suspensions that aren't permanent is for 12 consecutive months.
Any suspension you incure within that time will impose a higher penalty, e.g.: 3, 7, 30, 180 days, etc.

You need to contact eBay and ask them for the listing to be reinstated if what you are selling is genuine. Usually the customer support reps on the Chat are more useful than the ones on the Phone I have found out.

DO NOT list the same item on the same account unless eBay confirms they removed it by error and you get an email like this:

Didn’t know this. Do you have this tested by yourself? It means that when you already had 3 day suspension on your account after 12 months you will receive 3 day suspension again and not 7 day suspension?

There are situations where stepwise suspension hasn't occurred meaning that instead of 7 day suspension after 3 day suspesnion, eB can hit the account harder....just fyi

Yes this happened to me as well. After 3 days suspension they did not issue 7 days suspension but permanent suspension. On other account (stronger and established account) they gave 7 days suspension.

But that would be nice if after 12 months “cool off” process you can start over. But I think it’s not possible with eb.

When you could see the violations (taken off a few years ago) it was always 3 months clear and the violation was off. At that time I was getting vero violations for selling compatible product (not knock offs) by being reported by the original manufacturer. Then it was generally a restriction of listing new items, not a suspension until you had a few listing restrictions.

My experience has been that if I wait a year I.avoid a suspension of any kind. I have been selling such items since 2004 a lot has changed during this time. what I do is if I get a canceled listing, it is just a warning no suspension I then wait for a year before I list such items again and it has worked well for me.

This is dangerous stuff, I have over 600 feedbacks and just a mere mention of the name, say for example, for so and so brand, and then they sent me a 7 day restriction email. Can you believe that?

I hope you are building stealth backup accounts - don't let all your sales rely on one account only
