| | | pirate1122 | 07-25-2020 01:11 AM | Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered It's happening again. Several buyers in different locations, with orders purchased on different days are saying their items show as delivered but have not been. I have seen some tracking numbers show delivered twice in a row.
I pack my items in a mailer and use labels I buy on ebay. I use ShipStation. I print all my orders and go to end of day and print an end of day label (label post office person can scan instead of each individual label). I think hand all my mail to my mail lady and she scans the label and takes it to the post office.
Am I doing something wrong? This problem had stopped for a while and suddenly starting again...i really need help. It's affecting small and large orders. |

| agent006140 | 07-25-2020 07:18 AM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered scan each one !
Tell them to be patient, they should show up soon |
| cafonabob1 | 07-26-2020 12:17 PM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered That is of no concern to you. If the item shows as delivered then it was delivered. If packages are getting stolen from their property they need to file a claim with their homeowners insurance, contact the local police, install security cameras, etc... Maybe a family member has a drug habit. None of this is your responsibility
Best way to respond is to act stupid "We are sorry for the inconvenience you are having please open item not as described case and eBay will help you" then provide the tracking number. Quote:

If for some reason a nincompoop looks over the case and closes it in the buyers favor, just go into eBay chat, and have them look it over. They will most likely reverse the decision in your favor |

It's affecting small and large orders. | I don't think you're doing anything wrong, and once it is just going through the system, there isn't much you can do at that point. As long as the tracking shows delivered, then you would win any case filed by the buyers for non-delivery. Any negative feedback may also be removable by eBay, as well, if you win a case. |
| pirate1122 | 07-27-2020 05:12 PM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered Appreciate guys. But I also don't want to screw customers over. I had 6 people complain last week. A few years ago. I was getting 10+ a week and then it stopped. I would love to crack this case. My brother also sells on ebay and does things the exact same way as I do and he never has this problem. |
| cafonabob1 | 07-27-2020 11:11 PM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered How are you printing your labels? I use paypal/ebay thermal labels and ship thousands of packages and only hear this problem maybe 1/1000. USPS has been extremely reliable the last few years. Maybe it isn't random and someone is playing games with you?
Also I ship smaller manila envelopes. If you are shipping boxes it could be porch pirates. Anyway I don't see what you could possibly do. A USPS employee scanned it delivered. Even if they do a trace/investigation their conclusion would be it was delivered.
Best course of action here is to respond "I am sorry for the inconvenience we will issue a lost package claim, etc..." and let eBay close the case. |

I have seen eBay just decided on the buyer's favor regardless.
Unless you use the red label for signature confirmation it's not fool proof. These buyers can still lie. |

USPS delivery confirmation scanned DELIVERED is proof of delivery with eBay/Paypal as long as it is under $750. With Amazon or in Japan maybe it is different. I have been through this 100 times. Postman scanned it delivered, it was delivered.
There is an easy solution here and it is the right thing to do. Ask buyer to file a police report and show you a copy. The 10% who do, give a full refund.
If someone stole my package I would be eager to go to the police so they could gather fingerprints, etc... and find the fvcker who is stealing my packages. |
| cafonabob1 | 07-28-2020 02:04 AM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered Sorry about OP. Nothing you can do. It was delivered. Sorry. Open case. I don't know what you are selling but something sounds weird here. I lose less than 1/1000 packages like that (electronics). |

Delivery to correct zipcode, and signature for specific values, is all the proof you need. The only way you'd lose, is through an error, which can be easily correct with a real person. |
| IGNAS | 07-28-2020 02:30 PM | Re: Tracking says Delivered, Buyer says Not Delivered Yep, if you delivered to the correct address, zip code and package was claimed - no reason to worry.
But it's strange, probably buyers just trying to screw you. |
