Have you talked with your suppliers in China about a possible 2nd lockdown?


My suppliers are telling me the chances of such thing are very slim, but my gut is kinda stressed about this Corona thing coming back in winter :confused:

Well in winter more likely 2nd turn which will be worst but lets hope for batter and hope we all safe from this hell

China is reporting 4 cases at the moment......

The rest of the world is fearful and the politicians are eating up robbing liberties hand over fist.

I think DHL is refusing shipments because of mask deliveries?!!

The new Managed Payment system. They should waited till vaccine.

DHL and china have a very stressed relationship to begin with.

UPS is only accepting 4 cartons a day for most shippers(I ship 30-120 at a time so it no longer works at all)

Fedex can only get so many flights in and out.

Surface shipping has never been faster getting out of china to USA. It is twice as fast. BUT Because of mandates in the USA in California, it has been exceedingly painful getting processed through port and to a distribution center. Then that center is under the same ball-gag and just cant get everything shipped. Then Fedex will only accept 19 packages at a time...

This is why the shortages of goods are happening in the USA. It is solely Government bottlenecks and castrations causing the pain.

Yankee it is disruption. It’s not mental game. It takes 10 days to reply back to me if documents are ok or not. If they did started to turn off everyone and takes them 10 days to validate it would be a mess. I would believe it would cause some sort of disruption. Imo they should eased people into this and give options.

So what you are saying is that the US government is artificially making it hard for imports to reach the country?!! Is this about forcing companies to consider moving back?

Again, that is YOUR game. Is 5 years not enough easing? Etsy did it in one day..... Still stealth there. No disruption.

How has it disrupted YOUR sales? It hasn't... You did not loose a single sale yet.

I hope you are smart enough to realize that a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ vaccine is still many years away if even possible. Average time to create a relatively ineffective vaccine is a decade. They have been working on THIS vaccine for two decades already and we already know that IF there is ever a vaccine.... it will be like a flu vaccine and never overly effective.

Anyways, my point being, ebay might now even be around for said vaccine if one is even created.

and again.....YOU have not been disrupted at all. Yet anyways.

You might want to reroute that to another country like Canada that has better relations with the US versus China. Then have the goods ship from Canada into the US. Big corporations probably do that. It sucks big changes and shocks happen to system. It the small folks that pay the cost of change not the big guys on top

That is absolutely NOT how shipping works. That does not make any sense at all.

What would be helpful is if California's Governor was recalled or at least a temporary restraining order like KY and IL

Ideally these governors would be dragged in the street and hung for treason but that is also not the modern American way.

Yankee it’s not disrupting sale at this moment but if they do decide to turn everyone off who got the notice to sign up for MP. I believe it would especially their lag time in getting people verified for MP is TEN days.

The vaccine might sooner then you think. The only reason a vaccine will come out faster for COVID19 is because a lot countries are dumping tons and tons of money into it. The death rate and infection rate is way too high. Why do you think the Chinese and Russian are stealing vaccine research from the US if the US is blowing smoke. Funding research does wonders. I highly doubt Dr.Fauci would say anything about any vaccine if it wasn’t possible.

High? 99.99% survival rate and much less than 1% infection rate is not to high.

Doctor Fauci is an enemy of the state as far as I am concerned.

I am not going into politics with you. I don’t believe this right forum to that. I don’t like putting people down either that just not right thing to do. Everyone has different opinions. I know one thing, Covid19 is not something to take lightly. I know people who lost their livelihoods and others who ended up on a respirator . I do hope their vaccine that comes out for sake for everyone. Even the confidence of their some sort vaccine will be better and trade tension will be eased.
