Using my Mom's Info for a Stealth Acct
 

I can use my mom's info to create a new stealth account. She's never used ebay herself.

However, last time I was visiting her a few months ago, I did a lot of ebay work on my original ebay account (I hadn't learned about stealth accounts yet) using her IP address and physical address for shipping items I purchased on ebay (in my name).

We have the same last name. So if I use her info (name, SSN, etc.), do I need to use a different physical address than her real address?

I will use IPBurger to mask IP address from her house in the future. Just not sure if I should worry about using her physical address if that will be traced to my other ebay account and link them together.

I would use another address if i were you to avoid linking. If the items are cheap and some are returned, just let it be and take the loss.

Or you could use your aunties address for returns if the items are of value.

Does your mom know you are using her name and SSN? Not recommended

you should use stealth info, not somebody's real information (especially family)

Dont use your moms info... She could be liable for your tax burden and of course you would get her banned if you continue to operate the same as you did before.

I do have my mom's permission to use her name, SSN and info to create an account. The only reason I'm considering doing it is because it was recommended in Stealthbook.com.

"For example if you have a relative who has never signed up for an eBay or Paypal account and they give you their permission to use their information for an account, do it!"

I'm assuming those who say nay on doing the above had a bad experience doing it, if you can give me more details on why this wouldn't work, I'd appreciate it. Got it on the tax burden as mentioned by yankee.

One of the pros, as mentioned in Stealthbook, is being able to supply all the required documentation for verifying identity.

If I use a different address to verify the account, to avoid tripping over her current address that I shipped to from my other account, and masked the IP address with IPBurger, I figured it would work. Why would it not work, and why would it be recommended by Stealthbook if it isn't a good option?

I'm new to this so appreciate any feedback info.

Its insane what people to do family members, dont use your moms SSN.
