selling sim cards on ebay
 

Hi, so i buy sim cards quite often of ebay, and had a question.

How on earth are the sellers profiting?!

I buy the sims for 20p each, and postage for them is at least 50p so its a definite loss.

Am i missing something? Or are they actually profiting because even if they received the sims for free, they would still make a loss.

And these sellers aren't ones who want feedback as they sell hundreds per day lol

why dont you ask them?
They may work for a company and just throw your envelope in the mail room and let the company pays for the postage,did you notice the postage?

Yep, the sims are sometimes from private sellers, and they pay a hefty amount for postage sometimes. Just got me thinking lol

They get Commission from network when customer topup the sim,
Plus most of provider provide free sims ie three lyca etc
