Creating seller account before first listing
 

Hello if seller account is created before first listing and account was not suspended for like 48-72 hours, does it mean account should be good in future or it is unrelevant.

Because when I tried to list first item (used book) I created seller account in listing creation process and account was suspended like 2 hours after (listing was not even submitted).

Now I just tried to create seller account without creating first listing and account is still good after 48 hours.

Do anyone have experience with thid? Thanks for all replies.

It can be suspended after first listing as well, phone verification can trigger MC113 within 3-6 days after verification, depends when account was created

It's true :( can be suspended at any time - only time will tell

If you didn't get suspended after creating the seller account you're fine, or at least that's what I remember.

That is weird because when I was creating first listing on account and therefore created seller account it was suspended 2 hours after.

When I created just seller account this account is live even after 48 hours. I’m using numbers from same carrier. Maybe it is just luck or I don’t know.


Yes that is true :( ebay is lottery nowadays...but it is best platform for me to sell :/ don’t know better option


That would be good. But as other said only time will tell and I definitely agree with this.

It's irrelevant. plus you do need to create a first listing to make a seller account safely.

If you created your account with some random VPN however you'kl be suspended regardless.

So make sure if anything, you use a residential IP from IPburger.

No I always use mobile dongle with carrier ips not any public vp.n

Once phone verfication done, it becomes a seller account. So the big movment is the phone verificaiton, not the item listing.

Can be true but in my opinion account is being checked ‘more’ by ebay when you list first item not when you only create seller account without listing.
