Default low prices --> suspension?

Do you think eBay will suspend an account for offering prices lower than the category's average?

Doesn't matter what price if you are not selling illegal or counterfeit items

I am going off on a limb here and assuming you're trying to build accounts up by selling cheap things fast. Just be careful - it's not the price they care so much as the velocity in mu opinion. Take things slow, it sucks but that's what backup accts are for!

I have never seen an account selling legitimate goods suspended by eBay for selling too cheaply.

It is not unusual for auction to start at a low price like 99 cents ,but for Buy it now,with high risk items,unless you have an established account,Ebay may look into it or someone could report you.
stolen goods,counterfeits ,scams !

eBay reps can see the average selling price for the items you are selling. Low prices may not be the initial reason for suspension but the rep may ask why you are selling at below market average if you call to get the restriction lifted.

WTF!!! Isn't fixing prices illegal? I thought sellers should be free in their price-offerings

If it's too good to be true, it probably is - likely this concept comes into play...

On Ebay,it depends on who is the seller and what he is selling.
It is not uncommon your great aunt left you with attic full of goodies,some could be new or slightly used,trinklets,coffee filters,toaster ,since your cost is zero and you just want to get rid of them,you can set a lower price.
But if you are selling brand new iphones below wholesale price,Ebay will notice
